This monthly calendar takes you into the mystical world of ancient times, with the folklore and ritual surrounding our native plants and how they were used for medicine, food and magic. Remember the old ways and live in tune with the seasons. Eat freely off the land you live on and start your journey to self sufficiency. Learn which plants can help you with any physical or emotional symptoms you may have. Delve into the abundance of wild food and medicine that grows all around us on this green isle.
About Cary-anne Hornsey
Cary-anne is a forager, author, teacher and herbalist. From a very young age she would spend all of her time in the garden with the plants making potions. She now teaches foraging, is the author of Foraging and Folklore – The Wheel of Nature, a monthly calendar of UK foraging with plant identification, medicinal benefits, folklore and practical recipes. You can find Cary-anne holding circles, retreats and ceremonies and giving talks and workshops at festivals.
