Maldon Books is thrilled to welcome Collette Lyons and Paul Vlito to The Blue Boar this May, for an evening discussion on their New York Times bestselling crime novel, The Club.

Set on Osea Island, The Club is an exhilarating, addictive read, telling a story of ambition, excess, and what happens when people who have everything – or nothing – to lose are pushed to their limit.

The Home Group is a collection of ultra-exclusive private members’ clubs and a global phenomenon, and the opening of its most ambitious project yet – Island Home, a forgotten island transformed into the height of luxury – is billed as the celebrity event of the decade.

But as the first guests arrive, the weekend soon proves deadly – because it turns out that even the most beautiful people can keep the ugliest secrets and, in a world where reputation is everything, they’ll do anything to keep it.

If your name’s on the list, you’re not getting out…

Writing under the pen name Ellery Lloyd, Collette and Paul’s latest novel has been chosen as one of Reese Witherspoon’s Boob Club picks. Both will be joined by the multi-talented journalist, blogger, sub-editor and designer, Darryl Webber, for a discussion on their work as a writing duo, and all things crime!

The event will take place upstairs at 7pm in The Blue Boar’s function room, The Long Room. Tickets are £5 each, and can be purchased via EventBrite here or directly in the shop. Please use your receipt of purchase as your ticket. The book will also be available to purchase and have signed at the event. If you have any queries, please do get in touch with us directly.
