Nursery Rhymes; with Pictures by Claud Lovat Fraser

Description

Robert was inspired to create this collection by the original drawings of Claud Lovat Fraser (1890-1921), who originally sketched his eye-catching images for his newly born daughter Helen. The illustrations in this modern volume have been vividly updated by artist Ben Coppin.

Alongside the traditional nursery rhymes, Robert writes on the magic of nursery rhymes, the meaning of their not-so-childish nonsense and the history behind them.
