Welcome to Maldon Books, an award-winning independent bookshop nestled in the heart of Maldon, Essex.

We’re a family-run bookshop, located in at the top of the high street with a beautiful view of All Saints Church. We stock a wide range of titles for children and adults of all ages, across a variety of genres. We also sell cards, gift wrap and jigsaws, and all sorts of suitably bookish gifts.

You can also find new and second hand records from Novel Sounds in our bookshop, at 21c High Street, accessible both on the High Street and within Maldon Books.

The bookshop is open for browsing seven days a week, and our experienced booksellers are on hand to help you find the perfect book, whether it’s a gift for a loved one, or a treat for yourself.
