Event: Nick Butterworth book signing & Christmas lights switch on!

Light Up Maldon Christmas Lights Switch On
Thursday 28th November | 5pm – 9pm

Book signing with Nick Butterworth at the bookshop from 6:30pm

Come and celebrate Maldon’s Christmas Lights switch on event with us! Maldon Town Council is hosting their annual Christmas lights switch-on event, called Light Up Maldon, on Thursday 28th November 2024 from 5-9pm. With street stalls and indoor craft markets, the event promises to be a great evening where the community can come together. There will be entertainment from local performers, the traditional Santa’s Grotto, and a selection of stalls selling local wares, indoor craft markets selling bespoke items, along with hot food and refreshments on offer from local businesses. The Christmas Lights will be switched on at 6pm.

To celebrate the occasion, we’re thrilled to welcome Nick Butterworth, author of the Percy the Park Keeper series back to our bookshop for a special festive book signing! This is a free event to attend and we’ll have lots of Nick’s books available for you to purchase in store, however, if you’d like to reserve any books ahead of time, do get in touch with us at maldonbooksltd@gmail.com

Nick will be in the bookshop from 6:30pm – 7:30pm
