About Julie Haworth
About Murder At Honeysuckle Harbour
An idyllic Devon village. A murdered pug breeder. And a vet with a nose for trouble…
When Daisy Turner returns to the seaside village of Honeysuckle Harbour to take over her late father’s vet practice, she’s expecting muddy paws, cuddly cats, and the chance to grieve in peace. What she gets is a new vet trying to drive her out of business, a handsome new colleague… and a dead body.
Margot Kinkade was a successful local pug breeder, and when the police say her death was an accident, Daisy isn’t convinced. Margot was meticulous – and the pet passport Daisy spots at the scene raises questions no one else seems willing to ask. With the village police refusing to listen and a whiteboard full of clues set up in her spare room, Daisy sets out to diagnose this mystery the only way she knows how: gathering symptoms until a pattern emerges. Can Daisy unravel a web of secrets without putting herself – or her animals – in danger?
About Fiona Leitch
Fiona Leitch is an author, screenwriter, and enthusiastic tea drinker. Shes written for football and motoring magazines, DJed at illegal raves, and as a child was once almost thrown out of a TV studio debate by John Craven, which remains one of her proudest moments. Her debut novel, the darkly funny serial killer romcom ‘Dead in Venice’, was published by Audible as part of their inaugural Crime Writing Grant, and was recently optioned by BBC Studios along with the sequel, ‘Murder Ahoy’. She now writes the Jodie ‘Nosey’ Parker cosy crime series for HarperCollins imprint One More Chapter, because she loves thinking about Cornwall, food, and murdering people (not necessarily in that order). Since launching in 2021 the series has been translated into French, Italian, German, Swedish and Czech. She is a sucker for a happy ending (though not for the victim, obviously), a romantic subplot, and the odd cheesy pun. After living in London, Cornwall and New Zealand shes finally settled in sunny Norfolk, where she spends her days walking on the sand dunes of Great Yarmouth with her family, and working out ever more twisty ways of killing people.
About The Cornish Halloween Murder
It’s (almost) Halloween in Penstowan, and strange things are afoot… When a developer buys the abandoned convent and cottage hospital of St Ann’s on the edge of town, locals are aghast at his plans to turn the site into apartments.
And when menacing voodoo-like dolls are found hidden inside the walls, it looks like the building’s past inhabitants are against it, too. As the town prepares for the annual Bonfire Parade taking place on Halloween night, ex-police officer Jodie Parker finds herself in a world of witches and Wiccans, whispering voices and ghostly babies crying, as she tries to find out who’s behind the campaign to stop the development. Then one of the builders is found dead at the bottom of a staircase.
Has a spectre from the convent’s past come back to take revenge on the living, or are Jodie and her husband, DCI Nathan Withers, looking for a killer of flesh and blood?
