WE'RE READY!

Wow, what a crazy couple of days it's been getting our Book Hut ready at the park! The Maldon Books team have worked so hard to make our little bookshop even better than last year 📚

We've got more books, lower prices - and a giant moon! Special thanks to our fantastic team of booksellers who have worked so hard to get the hut going, and to every family member who has lifted, decorated and worked in very high temperatures to get us open today!

Come and see us at 11am - we've got free books and stickers to give away, and the Book Hut will be officially open for the summer!

We can't wait to see you!

Gone bookin'!

We are so pleased to announce that our Book Hut will be returning to the park this Sunday!

We'll be open every day throughout August, and we can't wait to see you there.

Maldon Books is three years old in December, and although it's been a little bit of a rollercoaster since opening in 2019, the one thing that has never changed is just how wonderful our customers have been to us. We know things haven't been easy, but we will always be grateful to everyone wishing to support us and any independent bookshop or business. That's why this year, we've decided to make sure that our Book Hut has something for everyone. Whilst we'll still have a selection of our new and bestselling titles on offer, we'll also be stocking plenty of books at reduced prices, including half price hardbacks and £5 fiction favourites.

We hope that you'll visit us, and maybe stumble across a book you've been meaning to read, or have a chat with our lovely booksellers on hand to help you find something new. As long as it's not raining cats and dogs, we'll be there!

Our Song, Rhyme & Story Time sessions will be held outside every Tuesday at 10:30am. They're completely free, and all are welcome to come along and join us.

If you'd like to come by and see us this weekend, we'll be opening from 11am on Sunday, with suitably bookish freebies to giveaway whilst stocks last too.

We'll be open Monday - Saturday 10:00am - 4:30pm, and 11am - 4pm on Sundays, and our bookshop on the High street will still be open 7 days a week too.

Pleased as punch to welcome not one, but TWO authors to our bookshop tomorrow!

Frances Quinn, author of That Bonesetter Woman, and Matson Taylor, author of The Miseducation of Evie Epworth, will be popping in tomorrow afternoon and signing their books!

Please do feel free to come in and say hello! Frances and Matson are visiting a lot of bookshops this week, and we're so excited to be one of them!

If you're not able to come along tomorrow, just drop us a message and we can put a signed book aside for you, or post one out to you if you're not local to Maldon ❤️
