Happy birthday to us!
The 7th December marks our second birthday, and what an incredible two years it has been!
We’d like to say a special thank you to all our customers, friends and family who have shown us such love and support since we opened our doors, particularly in the times when we needed it most.
2020 and 2021 have not been without their challenges, especially in the midst of the pandemic. If you have ever been kind enough to buy a book from us, thank you, it really does make a difference, even when it might seem as though it doesn’t.
From the piles of Click & Collect orders in January to our lovely Summer spent in the park with our Book Hut and our good friends Silo Refinery, they’re all memories we’ll never forget.
We love our shop. We love our High Street. We love books! Bookshops mean so much to communities, and it’s been everything to us to be part of this one.
A special thank you to our fantastic team of booksellers at the shop and the Book Hut, Yolanda, Billie-Jean, Izzy, India-Rose and Oliver, who all work tirelessly to bring you books and do it so well too!
